How to get your hands on all my paperbacks, free!
Would you like to read ANY (or all) of the Old Fools books in print, completely free? It’s easy. All you have to do is have the following conversation…

Whether you live in the United States, Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand, Spain or Australia, wherever, just enter your local library. Walk up to your friendly librarian and have the following conversation.
You: “Do you have any books by Victoria Twead? She writes the Old Fools stories.”
Librarian: “No, I don’t think so. I’ll just check on the computer. Did you say Victoria Tweed?” She starts tapping keys.
You: “Twead is spelt T.W.E.A.D.”
Librarian: “Ah yes, here she is. I see she’s written about eight memoirs, is that right?”
You: “Yes! And she has more coming. And they are all in Large Print as well as regular paperbacks.”
Librarian: “Ah, I see she’s been on the New York Times bestseller list three times. Would you like me to order some for the library? I’ll definitely order some large print copies, too.”
You: “Yes, please.”
Librarian: “No problem. I’ll phone you as soon as they come in. They’ll probably take about a week.”
You: “Thank you very much!”
Well, I can dream, can’t I? If you really go into your local library and ask for my books, I would be SO GRATEFUL! And I would LOVE to know how you get on!
P.S. And if you came to this page to win an ebook at the We Love Memoirs birthday party, you’ve come to the right place! All you need to do is pick ONE letter from the word:
L I B R A R I A N
…and type it in the comments under my birthday competition post. Good luck!

Victoria, Which books would you recommend for a retired couple moving to spain? In what order should I proceed? Of course I am interested in starting with the stories taking place in spain.

Hello Debbie, how kind of you to ask! I would definitely suggest you start with Chickens, Mules and Two Old Fools which is the first of the series. You’ll find it in both Ebook and Paperback on Amazon, here: http://bit.ly/2BhLazl Then book 2 is Two Old Fools – Olé!
Thank you for asking and good luck with your move!

Hi Lesley! I don’t know where you are in the world, but if you go to your local library and ask for the Old Fools series to be ordered in, most libraries are delighted to follow recommendations. It helps me because I get paid a small amount per borrow, and library members get to read the books for free.
If you want to order books for yourself, Amazon is probably your cheapest, easiest, fastest bet. Just type my name in their search box. (Note Twead has an ‘A’ in it!)
Or you could try this link in the US: https://www.amazon.com/author/vt or in the UK try this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/author/vt
Thank you so much for asking!
